What are freeze-dried sweets?
Familiar sweets with the water removed under vacuum. They turn light and brittle, and the flavour comes through more strongly.
Do you freeze-dry the sweets yourselves?
Yes, we freeze-dry every batch ourselves in Poland.
Are freeze-dried sweets healthier?
Freeze-drying changes the structure of sweets, not their ingredients. They're still sweets, so enjoy them in moderation.
Why does the flavour seem stronger than in regular sweets?
The ingredients are the same, but there's no chewy texture covering up the flavour. Brittle sweets dissolve faster in your mouth, so you taste them straight away.
Are freeze-dried sweets hard?
No. They're brittle and light, and they melt quickly in your mouth. Former hard candies such as Jolly Rancher crunch the most, but they're still easy to bite.
Does freeze-dried ice cream need to be kept in the freezer?
No. Freeze-dried ice cream has no water left, so it doesn't melt. Keep it in a closed bag in a dry cupboard. In the freezer or fridge it picks up moisture and goes soft.
How should I store freeze-dried sweets?
In a closed bag, in a cool, dry place. Once opened, eat them soon, because moisture in the air takes away the crunch.
How long do they stay fresh?
You'll find the best-before date on the pack. Once the bag is open, it's best to eat them within a few days, because over time they soak up moisture from the air and lose their crunch.
Where can I check ingredients and allergens?
On each product page, under "Ingredients and nutrition". Allergens are listed in the ingredients, and if a product may contain traces of other allergens, we say so below the ingredients.
Do you have vegan or gluten-free sweets?
It depends on the product. Many gummies and marshmallows contain gelatine, and some bars and ice creams contain gluten. We list the full ingredients and allergens on every product page, so please check them before buying.
Are freeze-dried sweets suitable for children?
Just as much as regular sweets. Take care with the youngest, as some pieces are fairly large. Some products contain colours that may affect activity and attention in children; we flag this in the ingredients.
Do you sell freeze-dried fruit?
No. We only freeze-dry sweets. Our "fruity" products are fruit-flavoured gummies and candy.
Why does the bag look full but weigh so little?
Freeze-dried sweets puff up and lose their water, so they're bigger and lighter than before. You'll find the weight of each pack under the product price.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery within Poland is free from 149 zł. Below that, and for shipping abroad, you'll see the cost in the basket before paying.
How long does delivery take?
We ship your order within 24 hours of receiving payment. The courier usually delivers within 2 working days of dispatch.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, to selected European countries, including Germany, Czechia, Austria, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Shipping costs 50 zł. You'll find the full list of countries on our Delivery and payment page.
Which payment methods do you accept?
BLIK, payment cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, fast transfers via Przelewy24 and PayU, and Klarna (including pay later). We don't ship cash on delivery.
What's in a Mystery Box?
A random selection of our freeze-dried sweets. Their total value is higher than the price of the box.
Can I return my order?
You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract. For hygiene reasons we can't take back food in opened packaging. Details are in our terms of sale.
What if the sweets arrive crushed or soft?
Email us at info@frizle.pl with photos of the product and packaging. We'll respond to your complaint within 14 days. Details are in our terms of sale.
