Freeze-dried giant caramel wafer: a Dutch waffle that crunches 🧇
The freeze-dried giant caramel wafer is a large Dutch waffle with caramel inside. After freeze-drying the caramel layer puffs up and turns light and brittle, while the waffle stays crisp. Instead of stringy caramel you get caramel that crumbles in your mouth.
There's one wafer per bag, good for sharing or as a sweet treat with coffee. We freeze-dry it ourselves in Poland.
